Trauma Administrator

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $81.33/Hr. on w2.

  • Responsible for coordination of resources and activities necessary to ensure that the Trauma Program; Assists in developing and reviewing policies and procedures in relation to trauma care patients.
  • Responsible for implementation, and ongoing assessment, education, and communication of these trauma protocols to all disciplines affected by such; assists in the identification of patient and staff education needs as related to trauma and works cooperatively with other hospital disciplines to coordinate these needs; actively supports all research projects related to trauma care and outcomes through the trauma registry program; maintains continuing education standards.

Skills:  

  • 4 years related admin experience; Knowledge of ACS Trauma Verification requirements.

  • Experience Required: 4 years experience.
  • Shift: Day

Immunization docs required:

  1. TB Test -   Any of the following will meet this requirement:

  a) 2 PPD - Tuberculin skin test (1 within past 3 months and 1 within past 12 months

  of most recent PPD)

  b) 1 IGRA (QuantiFERON or T-SPOT) (within past 3 months). Must provide copies of

  original lab reports showing name of Laboratory and Lab Director.

  If positive worker must have chest X-ray report taken within 3 months of the

  positive PPD or QuantiFERON test. Must be completed annually.

  1. Tdap/Td - Vaccine within the past 10 years
  2. MMR –Titers or 2 series (minimum 4 weeks apart)
  3. Varicella –Titers or 2 series (minimum 4 weeks apart)
  4. Hepatitis B – Titer or 3 series
  5. Influenza - Either of the following will meet this requirement:

a) Vaccination (within 12 months of assignment and current during Flu season)

b) Completed certificate of declination

  1. Physical test -must be completed within 12 months prior to start of assignment and annually thereafter.
