Validation Engineer

Contract: 12 Months+

• Define electrical validation methodologies for each of the different systems by working with researchers, architects, and the design teams
• Define and track detailed test plans for the different modules and top-level systems
• Define, architect, design and drive implementation of scalable test infrastructure
• Keep track of coverage metrics and bugs encountered and fixed
• Own execution, interpretation, and reporting of electrical module, board and system level verification work status and results
• Clearly communicate test plans and results

Skills:

Must-have skills

• Knowledge of definition of verification requirements
• Electrical engineering fundamentals, especially ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in bring up and testing.
• Capable of testing and validating analog, digital and power circuits
• Capable of reading a schematic and following a layout
• High proficiency with bench-top and handheld EE equipment’s
• Clear communicator and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
