Job Description:

As a Design Lead, you will support and lead the visualization and the design of customer insights such as customer segments, personas, customer journeys, service blueprints, segment and thus enable product, marketing and commercial teams to accelerate decision making through deep and rich understanding of people with diabetes, their personal care givers as well as health care professionals.

You will also further develop and design tools, frameworks, manuals and playbooks for insights discovery, customer opportunity development as well as for our solution testing and business model acceleration.

Additionally, you will lead the continuous design and development of our internal Google Site and our marketing efforts to enable every member of client to get access to key insights for learning, education as well as for decision making across product development and commercialization.

You will build frameworks, methods, processes, tools, infrastructure and training material for data driven evidence-based decision making.

The Design Lead will report to the Global Head of Growth Acceleration & Open Innovation. The Position is based on a RDC global Development site (Indianapolis) with the opportunity to work remotely.

 

Skill and Qualifications:

You have a BS or MS in Service Design, Visual Communication, Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related field of study and a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience.

You have experience working with qualitative & quantitative customer insights data and how to translate them into actionable information, e.g., for education and decision making.

You want to engage with the customers we are trying to serve to inform the design of information based on real world experiences and data.

You are comfortable in the design of dashboards, customer journeys, personas, information design, visualization of data for education and decision making.

You are fluent in English. Other languages, especially German and Spanish, are an advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

Design and visualization of customer insights such as customer journeys, personas, service blueprints and other customer data for education, immersion and decision-making purposes.

Design of toolbox, playbooks, manuals for training and skills development

Design of Google Site and development of key functionalities needed for customer discovery and business model incubation and acceleration.

Participate in customer insights discovery and solution testing and validation via studies, experiments and pilots.
