Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30am – 6pm
As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, you will work with specialized and complex therapies that are delivered to patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Communication with patients, prescribers, and colleagues.
- Frequent phone conversations, emails, faxes. Fulfillment of prescriptions, packaging medications for shipment, processing copays, researching financial assistance.
- Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports.
- Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
Skills:
- CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required.
- The national certificate, PTCB preferred but not required certificate.
- At least 01 years’ experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Basic computer skills include word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
- Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must. Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.
Education/Experience:
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required with CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required
