The Electrical Engineer I will serve as a subject matter expert and presenter, responsible for providing consultative product and solution expertise related to electrical power systems, particularly for data centers. This role involves collaborating with sales teams to tailor presentations and demonstrations to meet customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert and presenter for electrical solutions, particularly in power systems for data centers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand sales objectives and tailor presentations to customer interests.
  • Present trends and value propositions to customers both in-person and virtually.
  • Focus on single-phase and three-phase power solutions, including UPS systems, switchgear, and transfer switches.
  • Lead initiatives around data center three-phase power solutions and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Engage with customers, account managers, and other stakeholders to provide consultative input throughout the planning process.
  • Maintain the lab in a state of readiness for demonstrations and events.
  • Capture and communicate customer insights and feedback.
  • Work with product marketing and technical support to design new demonstrations.
  • Develop relationships with product groups for technical and product support.

Skills:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in power applications engineering, preferably in data centers.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Good business acumen and understanding of customer engagement processes.
  • Ability to engage with various levels of customers, from executives to technical staff.
  • Familiarity with international standards and electrical industry certifications is a plus.

  • B.S. in Engineering or equivalent certifications and experience.
