Contract - 3 Months (Contract to Hire)

Hour: • 3rd Shift: (Sunday-Thursday) 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our client's team in Londonderry, NH. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, supporting material handling, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and adhering to company procedures. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn, work with machinery, and help maintain the smooth operation of the production line in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to documented procedures, maintaining operational logbooks.
  • Provide technicians with information on equipment malfunctions when required.
  • Support material handling as necessary and maintain proper segregation of materials, lot numbers, and receiving numbers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Adhere to and demonstrate compliance with all company and department standard operating procedures (SOPs), including GMP, device history records, hazard communication, and safety rules.
  • Utilize written procedures and training to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Accept responsibility for product quality and ensure the production process meets required standards.
  • Report unresolved issues to supervisors or management in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of work-in-process, component inventories, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure smooth operation of manufacturing equipment under the guidance of the Manufacturing Supervisor, following established specifications, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Demonstrate continuous progress in learning equipment and tasks within the assigned manufacturing area.
  • Follow supervisor instructions to ensure quality standards are met for raw and finished goods.

Skills:

  • Experience operating machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of equipment monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to support material handling and maintain segregation of materials.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to learn new equipment and processes.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow supervisor instructions.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to wear safety glasses, hairnets, gloves, and provide steel/composite-toe shoes/boots.
  • Must adhere to shift start times and maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • No physical contact with hazardous materials or chemicals.
