Contract - 12 Months (Possibilities of Contract Extension)

This position involves schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery plan development for Proposal, FEED, or EPC project schedules for the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Stage 3 Program. The role supports project organizational and administrative activities and requires significant in-person attendance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Engineering and Procurement planning duties.
  • Coordinate, collect, verify, and integrate work scope for all entities into the total project plan.
  • Review project scope representation in schedules.
  • Establish conceptual scope of schedule studies.
  • Prepare and analyze comparisons of scope and quantities between projects.
  • Perform productivity analysis of construction operations.
  • Establish milestones for the total project or major portions.
  • Review project work activities to ensure support of milestones.
  • Coordinate timely acquisition of scope definition and related data.
  • Support development and maintenance of Engineering Progress and Performance Reporting (EPPR), Procurement Valuation System (PVS), and Subcontract Valuation System (SCVS).
  • Update and maintain engineering and procurement activities in the schedule.
  • Recommend changes to durations and/or logic to maintain overall project duration.
  • Review work logics and determine adequacy of schedules.
  • Review completeness and reasonableness of quantities.
  • Evaluate schedule durations for all disciplines relative to project milestones.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise schedule resource loading and leveling.
  • Coordinate development of bulk commodity release and installation curves.
  • Identify schedule restraints and their effects on the total project schedule.
  • Work with all departments to ensure understanding of total project schedule needs.
  • Identify schedule considerations and problems from inter-discipline restraints.
  • Issue reports required by Client management and project procedures.
  • Monitor and report critical path and schedule performance.
  • Perform project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas.
  • Recommend alternatives for schedule improvement to the project team.

Skills:

  • Experience in planning and scheduling functions on EPC projects.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in PC operating systems and basic software applications.
  • Proficiency in discipline-specific software applications (Primavera, Microsoft Office).
  • Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes.

Education/Experience:

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
