Location: New York, NY 10014. Small Description: Responsibilities will include assisting with conference room and event set-ups by moving chairs and tables as well as other furniture, assisting with office moves, and fulfilling requests from the On-Site Facilities Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides exceptional service to the business from greeting all incoming customers, clients, and visitors to acting as site information resource to all. Create and maintain a professional image of the company by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service always.
  • Meet, greet, and guide all visitors and staff in a friendly and courteous manner to ensure that their passage into the premises is as smooth as possible
  • Maintain a pristine environment including reception area and lobby. Communicate with internal departments to address special cleaning needs during the day
  • Assist all personnel and guests with site services and amenities including badging, Wi-Fi/IT inquiries, catering/cafeteria/vending service availability and locations, meeting room guidance,
  • Distributes name badges to visitors, temporary employees, etc.
  • Answers and transfers calls
  • Participates enthusiastically in company and community service events.
  • Perform site inspections and work with vendors to ensure property is maintained to highest standards. Work with vendors as needed (i.e. cleaners, interior plant/landscaper, facilities, security, etc.).
  • Perform PC Support and Administrative duties as needed.

Skills:

  • MS Office Suite experience is a plus, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Possesses excellent customer service skills and is detail oriented.
  • Possesses ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education/Experience:

  • Requires high school diploma and 2+ years of prior switchboard experience.
  • WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and normal range of temperature and noise. - Requires daily contact within the department. - Work has some occasional stress due to periodical or cyclical workload pressures. - Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). - Requires regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination).
