Location (mandatory): Duncan South Carolina 29334 The Spinner Technician is a salary (non-exempt) position, and reports to the Operations Leader. The employee is the operations specialist in the Spinner work cell. The employee is accountable to setup and run the Electron Beam drilling machines, Has CNC Lathe, Coating machine, File Brush machine, Has CNC Stripping machine, and the Spinner Balance stand. The operator is responsible for meeting the quality requirements for all parts ran on these machines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor multiple machines in the Spinner work cell, including Electron Beam drilling machines, CNC lathes, coating machines, file brush machines, CNC stripping machines, and the Spinner balance stand.
  • Manufacture precision parts at high volume while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established production standards.
  • Perform machine setup, adjustments, and process troubleshooting independently to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Fine-tune equipment parameters to address and resolve quality issues, maintaining production efficiency and product reliability.
  • Take full ownership of part quality by applying “quality at the source” principles, ensuring all products meet or exceed customer specifications.
  • Inspect and verify finished parts using precision measuring tools and instruments, documenting results to maintain compliance with quality control requirements.
  • Read and interpret technical prints, work orders, and specifications to execute production tasks accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following company safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Education/Experience:

  • Operate a computer or other keyboard instrument.
  • Global Shop software.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Learn and develop competency in other specialized software.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-5 years in an industrial production environment (CNC experience a plus).
