Contract - 4 Months

Location : Charlotte North Carolina 28216 Shift : 2nd Shift: 4:00:00 PM- 2:15:00 AM, Monday-Thursday We are seeking an Assembler to join our production team. The role involves measuring, cutting, and assembling door units, operating manual and pneumatic tools, and ensuring materials meet quality standards. Responsibilities include following SOPs, verifying components against the bill of materials, palletizing and labeling finished products, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. The position requires standing for long periods, performing repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidates should have basic math skills, the ability to read a tape measure, and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assembler will be working on assigned production line and will be required to follow SOP for specific job assignment.
  • Measure, cut and assemble door units.
  • Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
  • Works under immediate supervision
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment. Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Strong analytical skills & Knowledge of all door components.
  • Efficient with multiple manual machines and pneumatic equipment such as Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Router, Tape Measure, Square.
  • Required to stand for long periods of time.
  • May involve some repetitive motions - bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers.
  • Ability to organize and maintain detailed records. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Read and understand bill of materials.
  • Due to the open environment of the facility, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold

Skills:

  • Proficient in measuring, cutting, and assembling door units.
  • Skilled in operating manual and pneumatic tools (Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Router, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret bill of materials and follow SOPs.
  • Strong attention to detail with quality inspection skills.
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Effective teamwork and communication abilities. Knowledge of safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred not required.
  • 1-2 Years in the field or related area.
