Contract - 06 Months

Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15233. Operate high-speed roll-feed and cut-sheet printers, mail inserters, and shipping equipment in a fast-paced print-to-mail facility. Perform mail sort preparation, quality control, and related tasks while adhering to strict standards of accuracy and timeliness. Receive training from senior staff, with progress monitored through performance goals and ongoing coaching. Collaborate respectfully with team members and escalate issues affecting quality or delivery promptly. Job Description: • High Speed Roll-feed and cut-sheet printing, High-speed Mail Inserter, SendPro Meter, US Mail and Vendor Package Shipping, Mail Sort Preparation, Quality Control, and other peripheral duties associated with a Print to Mail facility. • Incumbents will be trained by senior staff and co-workers. Performance will be tracked and measured by the incumbent’s demonstrated ability to learn new skills and put them to use effectively and consistently. • Coaching and guidance by the incumbent’s team manager will provide constructive feedback on progress and deliverables on training, performance goals and core behaviors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Incumbent on assigned equipment or processes will follow learned training techniques to meet strict guidelines in Quality, Accuracy and Timeliness to ensure multiple daily product deliveries are made.
  • Incumbent will consistently address and escalate issues which impact Quality, Accuracy and Timeliness with senior staff or the Team Manager.
  • Core Behavior competencies must align with the business code of conduct and always work effectively and respectfully with co-workers and business partners.

Skills:

  • Proficient using MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • High-speed print and mail equipment operation, Mail sorting and preparation, Quality control and accuracy assurance, Time management and meeting deadlines, Inventory control basics.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Computer literate
  • Proficient using MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • 0-1 years of print to mail experience or production manufacturing, including inventory control, large equipment maintenance, retail warehousing, customer service-oriented jobs
  • Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Previous mail room experience preferred
