Contract - Duration: 3+Years
Location: Lexington, MA Overseas and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Background/Need: The Laboratory is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative individual to lead the development of demand planning and BOM-driven part planning capabilities within a high-mix, low-volume prototyping environment. This role will serve as a bridge between technical users, purchasing staff, and system developers, working closely with stakeholders across engineering, mission divisions, and departments to define and implement effective planning solutions. This position is focused on program-driven, custom builds where success depends on visibility, readiness, and prevention of unnecessary buys rather than sales-driven forecast accuracy. The individual will act as both subject matter expert and project owner for demand and part planning capabilities in Aras Innovator, integrated with SAP S/4HANA and SRM. This individual will play a key role in transforming how we plan, manage, and execute prototype material readiness by capturing real user needs, translating them into clear requirements, and supporting delivery of scalable, repeatable processes and tools. This role will ensure these solutions are relevant and tied to the Laboratory’s mission.
