Contract - 12 months

Location (mandatory): East Aurora NY The person in role is responsible for picking and packing consumer placed orders for parts, unloading inbound shipments, and supporting product returns. This position requires the ability to operate a forklift.

Job Responsibilities:

  • • Pick-Pack orders to be fulfilled to ensure customer satisfaction and in a manner consistent with driving efficiency and cost savings
  • • Operate a Forklift to unload shipments and move inventory
  • • Maintain accurate inventory counts
  • • Support Returns and special projects
  • • Utilizes various shipping software to ensure postage is affixed to packages and sorted by carrier. Settles accounts at the end of day ensuring notification to shipping companies.
  • • Ensure orders and special projects/promotional shipments are handled in order received while evaluating needed fulfillment project to ensure minimal back orders.
  • • Perform warehouse duties as necessary: maintain packaging supplies at packing stations, support other pick/pack staff as needed, release orders as needed and take photos of new parts

Skills:

  • • 1-2 years related experience in Warehouse environment
  • • Certified to drive a forklift
  • • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
  • • Speed and can act decisively and with a strong sense of urgency. You strive to remove barriers to speed to achieve objectives more quickly and effectively.
  • • Ability to efficiently handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and attention to necessary detail
  • • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels.

Education/Experience:

  • • 1-2 years related experience in Warehouse environment
  • • Certified to drive a forklift
