Location : Richland WA. The Project Controls Professional III is a senior-level role responsible for developing, managing, and analyzing integrated project schedules and cost controls for large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects, primarily supporting nuclear development initiatives. This position plays a critical role in ensuring project performance through earned value management, risk identification, accurate forecasting, and data-driven decision support for project leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Level 1–5 detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Integrate cost estimates with schedules to produce logic-tied, resource-loaded cost flow projections
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to define scope, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor schedule and cost performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies
  • Analyze schedule deviations and cost variances; identify risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare performance reports comparing baseline and progress schedules, including critical path and recovery plans
  • Support Estimate to Completion (ETC) development and cost forecasting
  • Maintain data integrity, configuration control, and consistency across project control systems
  • Participate in project reviews, challenge sessions, safety meetings, and approval processes
  • Identify lessons learned and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

Skills:

  • Primavera P6 (advanced scheduling and cost integration)
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and variance analysis
  • Project controls and cost management for large-scale industrial projects
  • Schedule risk analysis and critical path methodology (CPM)
  • Cost estimating, forecasting, and ETC development
  • Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint
  • Project performance reporting and data analysis
  • Configuration management and database systems
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Workday Adaptive Planning, Asset Suite (preferred)
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial controls (preferred)
