Contract - 10 months + (Temp to Perm based on performance and openings)

Location (mandatory): 3340 Enterprise Way, Miramar, FL 33025 The Laboratory Technician is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive processing during screening, admission, study conduct, and discharge procedures. The role supports clinical and laboratory operations while ensuring compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory testing procedures and processing in strict compliance with study protocols, GCP standards, SOPs, QA/QC procedures, OSHA guidelines, and applicable state and local regulations.
  • Obtain vital signs and perform ECGs.
  • Ensure the integrity, well-being, and safety of study participants.
  • Provide administrative and operational support as a member of the site team.
  • Follow written directions and work independently while managing competing priorities within tight deadlines.
  • Function independently within a team environment.
  • Maintain excellent organizational and time management practices with strong attention to detail.

Skills:

  • Experience with laboratory processing equipment and ability to aliquot biological specimens (preferred).
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift as scheduled).

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One to two (1–2) years of experience in a clinical environment.
  • One (1) year of experience as a laboratory technician or equivalent or medical assistant training.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
  • BLS certification preferred (can be obtained during the first weeks of employment).
