Contract - 4 Months

Location (mandatory): Ocala Florida 34480 The Stacker role supports manufacturing operations by stacking decking boards onto pallets and securing them properly. The position emphasizes safe, efficient movement of products and materials while meeting production schedules. Stackers manually palletize products, inspect boards for correct dimensions and quality, and ensure pallets are stacked and strapped correctly. Duties include measuring boards, checking embossing quality, wiping boards before processing, cutting scraps, and maintaining a clean work area. Work is performed indoors around loud machinery in a non-temperature-controlled facility, requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, safety compliance, and the ability to work rotating twelve-hour shifts and overtime.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Stack decking boards onto pallets and strap pallets securely following production instructions and schedules safely
  • Manually palletize products according to instructions while ensuring proper alignment and stability during stacking tasks
  • Measure board length and squareness using measuring tape to meet required specifications consistently accurately
  • Inspect boards for correct length, shape, corners, and embossing quality before further processing carefully
  • Wipe decking boards before passing through embosser to maintain cleanliness and product quality standards
  • Move products between floors, pallets, conveyors, and tables to support continuous production flow safely
  • Maintain a clean, debris-free stacker area while following work rules and safety procedures consistently

Skills:

  • Ability to manually palletize and stack products accurately while maintaining safety and production efficiency standards
  • Proficiency measuring boards for length and squareness using basic tools to meet specifications consistently
  • Skill inspecting product quality, including embossing, shape, corners, and dimensions with attention to detail
  • Capability to follow work rules, safety procedures, and production instructions in manufacturing environments consistently
  • Physical endurance to perform repetitive tasks, constant standing, and material handling throughout long shifts
  • Effective communication in English to understand instructions and coordinate tasks within production teams clearly
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas to support safe operations

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required to meet minimum educational qualifications for the position
  • One year manufacturing environment experience preferred to support understanding of production and safety processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English within a manufacturing work environment
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills required for measurements, instructions, and documentation tasks
  • Ability to work twelve-hour rotating shifts as assigned to meet production scheduling requirements
  • Capability to perform repetitive and continuous work duties throughout extended manufacturing shifts consistently
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds while bending and reaching regularly
