Contract - 2 months

Location (mandatory): 107 S Motor Ave, Azusa, CA 91702 Small Description: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Dispatcher must be able to communicate with all levels of Operations and Sales. The dispatcher must be organized and have the ability to adjust and compensate for the needs of each job. The dispatcher must maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times and have the ability to motivate and build teamwork.

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Coordinate and prepare documents for 3rd parties to off-load in conjunction with Lab and Transfer Site Lead Hand; 
  •  Schedule drivers’ daily work assignment(s) and dispatch accordingly for “milk runs” and one offs;  
  • • Collect and monitor all work orders, manifests, service receipts, and time-sheets.
  • erify hours on a daily basis. Forward to Admin; 
  •  Collect paperwork (JSA’s, Confined Space Permits, etc.) from the Operators upon job completion, and review, to insure that all information is properly filled out.
  • ontact Operator for any discrepancies and correct immediately; 
  •  Interface with operations manager and Site Supervisor to coordinate coverage of all jobs with the appropriate equipment, personnel and materials; 
  •  Keeps a continually updated job board detailing the status of all personnel and equipment, including any rental equipment; 
  •  Communicate any changes in the mechanical or operational status of the equipment to management; 
  •  Monitor upcoming jobs and work with the operations manager to prepare for higher than normal levels of activity; 
  •  Collect and monitor all Circle Checks & Logs for forwarding to Transportation Administrator; 
  •  Assist in the distribution of supplies required for the tasks, and ensure that a complete accounting of the distribution is made; 
  • Notify account salesman, and the appropriate management, of any problems reported on jobs; 
  •  Monitor time for hourly personnel to minimize overtime; 
  •  Work with safety department to insure compliance with Health & Safety, and DOT regulations;  
  •  All other duties as assigned by Management.
