A Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll-related activities, with a focus on garnishments and court-ordered deductions. The role ensures accurate, timely payments and responses to employee and jurisdiction inquiries while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process garnishments, child support payments, and other court-ordered deductions accurately and timely
  • Set up deductions and payment schedules in the payroll system (SAP)
  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding garnishments and payroll issues
  • Address correspondence from jurisdictions related to payroll deductions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Analyze and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
  • Support payroll reporting and audits as required
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve complex payroll scenarios

Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in SAP Payroll module
  • Experience processing garnishments and court-ordered deductions

Education/Experience:
