Contract - 04 Months

Location : Azusa, CA 91702. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Dispatcher coordinates daily operations, schedules drivers, monitors job progress, and ensures accurate documentation and compliance with company and safety regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of Operations and Sales while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare documents for 3rd parties to off-load in conjunction with Lab and Transfer Site Lead Hand.
  • Schedule drivers’ daily work assignments and dispatch accordingly for “milk runs” and one-off jobs.
  • Collect and monitor all work orders, manifests, service receipts, and time-sheets; verify hours daily and forward to Admin.
  • Collect paperwork (JSAs, Confined Space Permits, etc.) from Operators upon job completion; review for accuracy and resolve discrepancies immediately.
  • Interface with Operations Manager and Site Supervisor to coordinate coverage of all jobs with appropriate equipment, personnel, and materials.
  • Maintain an updated job board detailing the status of all personnel and equipment, including rentals.
  • Communicate changes in mechanical or operational status of equipment to management.
  • Monitor upcoming jobs and collaborate with Operations Manager to prepare for high-activity periods.
  • Collect and monitor all Circle Checks & Logs for forwarding to Transportation Administrator.
  • Assist in distributing supplies for tasks, ensuring complete accounting of distribution.
  • Notify account salesman and management of any job-related issues.
  • Monitor time for hourly personnel to minimize overtime.
  • Work with Safety Department to ensure compliance with Health & Safety and DOT regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

  • Experience working in a safety-conscious environment.
