Contract -  4 Months + (Possibilities of Contract Extension)

Location (mandatory): Hanover, Maryland 21076 The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization. This role supports daily warehouse operations, quality control, customer service, and safety compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Verify products and enter receipts into the inventory system.
  • Store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick, pack, weigh, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, bills of lading, and delivery records.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Process returned materials and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Assemble/disassemble warehouse racks, bins, and shelving as needed.
  • Support inventory control and quality assurance activities.
  • Assist with counter sales and customer service when required.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

Skills:

  • RF Scan Gun experience.
  • Order Picking/Packing experience.
  • Sit-Down Forklift experience.
  • Narrow Aisle Forklift experience.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
  • Work Environment
  • Warehouse setting with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling.
  • May operate warehouse equipment and forklifts.
  • Must adhere to strict safety guidelines and use protective equipment when required.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and follow safety regulations.
  • Steel-toed boots required.
