Contract - 03 Months + (Possibilities of Contract Extension)

Location : Columbia, SC 29209 / EL PASO, TX 79912 / Juliet, TN 37122 / Seneca, SC 29678 / Smyrna, TN 37167 We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and support outsourcing, supplier changes, and part qualification projects. This role involves working with suppliers and internal teams to implement productivity improvements, manage project timelines, and ensure the successful execution of projects across multiple regions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support outsourcing, change of supplier, and QVE projects in alignment with the Long-Term Supply Chain Plan (LTSCP) to increase productivity and capacity in NAM regional facilities (Mexico, USA, Canada as needed).
  • Manage projects focused on part qualification (internal and external suppliers), capacity growth, and new tooling implementation.
  • Work to improve safety, quality, productivity, and service across key categories like Stamping, Sheet Metal, Bus Bar, Plastic, and Die Casting.
  • Attend supplier visits and Schneider facilities as needed to ensure project progress and alignment.
  • Collaborate with various internal Schneider groups and external suppliers to advance projects to closure.
  • Ensure all project-related information is updated in platforms such as JIRA, i-Project, i-Save, and other tools as per project requirements.
  • Provide weekly A3 status updates and leadership reviews, including project status, scope, and timelines.
  • Participate in BOC stage gate meetings to update the project status.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, i-Project, and i-Save.
  • Experience with supply chain management and working with global teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in categories like Stamping, Sheet Metal, Bus Bar, Plastic, and Die Casting is preferred.
