Contract - 6 Months

Location (mandatory): El Paso, TX • Manage day to day employee relations and HR related questions leveraging our internal HR Shared Service model; first point of contact for all hourly associates • Lead on employee escalations, investigations, complaints • Provide support and coaching to Front Line Supervisors • Support HR Manager in coaching the leadership team, provide advice and support on all related HR matters • Provide advice concerning matters with employee discipline and conflict resolution • Facilitate HR system processes and ensure data accuracy through digital tools; analyze data to support HR team in making better and strategic recommendations to the business • Own and lead all hourly recruitment at the site: sourcing, coordinating interviews, hiring, onboarding, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead employee hiring/contractor conversion efforts to ensure continuity in workforce requirements
  • Contribute to employees' professional development and embrace the talent strategy by
  • supporting the identification and assessment of the best talent as well as ways to support and develop our people
  • Facilitate and lead learning initiatives across the site. Partner with other functions to provide
  • resources to develop our teams
  • Facilitate and lead the various initiatives for digital connectivity for our hourly associates

Skills:

  • Must have domestic mobility (international mobility a plus!)
  • Strong leadership skills: collaboration, communication, influence, drive for results, effective planning & prioritization, and project management
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills working in a manufacturing setting
  • You must be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and matrix environment
  • Previous work in a manufacturing environment and enjoy partnering with line and unit managers is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel, as well as ability to manage digital systems to analyze data
  • The role requires on-site support with flexibility to support multiple shifts, and work remotely 1 day per week
  • Bilingual Spanish and English preferred

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or other related discipline
  • with 2+ years’ experience in HR generalist area
