We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to handle first-party property claims involving homes, mobile homes, and condominiums within defined authority limits. The role includes reviewing policy coverage, evaluating damages, and managing communication with vendors, policyholders, adjusters, and attorneys to ensure compliance with state and company guidelines. Responsibilities also include investigating claims, verifying invoices, negotiating settlements, and maintaining detailed documentation for timely resolution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently. Preferred experience includes 1–2 years in property claims or emergency services, along with relevant IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, or FSRT.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned property claims and apply accurate coverage and assessment.
  • Establish action plans aligning with policies, best practices, and regulations.
  • Conduct investigations to assess damages and validate vendor-submitted invoices.
  • Review policy coverages and determine reserves for ongoing claim expenses.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure timely resolution of claim files.
  • Negotiate and settle invoices and supplements with assigned third-party vendors.
  • Demonstrate empathy and provide excellent customer service to all policyholders.
  • Utilize Xactimate and policy knowledge to ensure consistent claim handling.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, attorneys, and public adjusters during claims.
  • Support legal, QA, and training teams with claim-related billing issues.

  • Proficient in claims handling systems, Xactimate, and policy interpretation.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant property claims experience.
  • 1–2 years in emergency services or property claims adjusting.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills for assessing damages and coverage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities under pressure.
  • Valid adjuster license and IICRC certification preferred within required timeframe.
