Contract - 12 Months

Location (mandatory): Redmond, WA Client is seeking a skilled Algorithm Developer for a temporary assignment. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of algorithms that support Client's products and services. This is a contractor position, not a full-time employment opportunity with Client. The assignment is based in Redmond, WA, with the possibility of remote work from anywhere in the United States.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize machine learning and compute vision algorithms for Client’s platforms and products.
  • Optimize machine learning and compute vision algorithms for efficient implementation on HW.
  • Develop a data preprocessing pipeline for model design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to improve algorithmic outcomes.
  • Document technical approaches and results for internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver project milestones and outcomes as defined by the scope of work.
  • Design, implement, and optimize computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
  • Build and maintain data preprocessing pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to improve algorithms.
  • Document technical approaches and project outcomes.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in algorithm development, data structures, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, TensorFlow lite etc.
  • Experience in large scale dataset generation and training
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results within defined timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education/Experience:

  • Masters preferred

The hardware in question is highly SWaP-C constrained and spans RF to digitization. The first 3-6 months of the role will be primarily in the lab testing and debugging existing hardware, and then the role transitions into more design work for follow-up hardware in different form factors and configurations, so a strong background in design and test are both relevant.
