Location : Carneys Point New Jersey Seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support business operations through advanced financial analysis, data interpretation, and reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in business processes, and proficiency in financial and operational systems to support strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling to support business operations.
  • Retrieve, interpret, and analyze financial and operational data using various business technologies and systems.
  • Prepare performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
  • Support functional areas such as asset management, operations, customer service, or regulatory functions with accurate financial insights.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business initiatives and process efficiencies.
  • Ensure financial practices align with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in project management tasks, including tracking progress and reporting on financial impacts.

Skills:

  • Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – advanced, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Business Applications: Workforce management systems, project management tools, PassPort, Brio, CIS, EPS, Business Objects, SAP planning, and other enterprise resource planning tools.
  • Data Analysis: Strong data retrieval, modeling, forecasting, and reporting skills.
  • Business Process Knowledge: Understanding of asset management, electric/gas operations, transmission and distribution systems, customer service operations, or regulatory affairs.
  • Performance Metrics: Ability to work with KPIs, financial metrics, and operational benchmarks.
