Richland, WA 99354 Support Nuclear and Engineering Projects by developing, maintaining, and coordinating detailed project schedules for online work, refueling outages, forced outages, and long-range lifecycle projects. Manage schedule integration between Passport and Primavera, assist project managers with schedule development and conflict resolution, and provide accurate scheduling information for daily, outage, and future work. The role supports project planning, resource loading, risk management, budget tracking, critical path analysis, work prioritization, and schedule recovery while ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate project schedules for Nuclear and Engineering Projects.
  • Schedule project activities by date, time, sequence, duration, and resource requirements.
  • Maintain schedule information between Passport and Primavera scheduling systems.
  • Assist project managers in developing detailed schedules for online work, outage projects, lifecycle projects, and Enterprise Risk projects.
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules based on project scope, complexity, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Identify and resolve schedule conflicts, delays, sequencing issues, and schedule adherence concerns.
  • Develop long-range and out-year schedules for projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive schedules to support daily operations, online work, outages, and future project activities.
  • Support planning and scheduling for refueling outages, forced outages, and online work.
  • Assist with project budget development and monitor project costs against approved budgets.
  • Support preparation of work packages, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety activities, clearance order preparation, and work prioritization.
  • Support resource loading, risk management, work execution, and resolution of schedule delays and conflicts.
  • Develop project schedules that support effective risk management, progress tracking, accountability, critical path management, and float management.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential impacts to milestones, critical path, and overall project completion.
  • Interface regularly with project managers, engineers, management, vendors, and other stakeholders to maintain schedule alignment.
  • Support contract development and management and coordinate with external vendors as required.
  • Develop and maintain long-range project planning strategies.
  • Support outage activities, including Outage Control Center (OCC) requirements.
  • Support effective implementation of self-assessment and corrective action program activities.
  • Provide written and oral project status communications to various stakeholder groups, including senior management.
  • Apply sound judgment and decision-making skills when addressing project scheduling and execution issues.
  • Support risk identification, mitigation planning, and project control activities.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced project and scheduling personnel as appropriate.
  • Promote safe, quality-focused, schedule-driven, and budget-conscious project execution.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university; OR
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related technical curriculum from an accredited college or university plus 2 years of experience in a technical field; OR
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of experience in a technical field.
