Location : Bethesda, MD (Remote) Small Description: The SAP Business Analyst Level 3 is a senior-level analyst specializing in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll integrations and reporting. This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and testing payroll and finance integrations, translating business requirements into functional specifications, and ensuring accurate, compliant payroll data flows across SAP and integrated systems in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional integration specifications, including data mapping and legacy system reconciliation
  • Design, maintain, and support payroll and finance integrations within SAP environments (SAP ABAP, SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects)
  • Update and maintain integration documentation for payroll feeds such as time & attendance, benefits, tax, and third-party providers
  • Build and execute functional and integration test plans, including user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Act as the first-line point of contact for payroll integration defects, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate defect triage and resolution with IT teams, vendors, and functional business owners
  • Ensure adherence to change-control procedures for all integration updates and enhancements
  • Provide clear, business-focused status updates to the Integrations Manager and project leadership
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual validations, reduce processing time, and improve overall data quality

Skills:

  • Expert-level experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll reporting and integrations
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP, SAP BW, and SAP BusinessObjects
  • Strong experience creating functional specifications and performing data reconciliation
  • Proven ability to design and execute functional and integration test plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Working knowledge of APIs, middleware, or scripting tools (e.g., SQL, Power Query, Python) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of payroll, finance, and compliance-related data flows
