Contract - 3 Months

Location : Thomasville, GA 31792. To oversee the timely flow and shipment of materials, supplies, and equipment. The ideal candidate will track and verify orders by coordinating with vendors, department heads, and shippers, using mail, email, phone, or in-person communication. Responsibilities include working with transportation providers to prevent delays, managing in-transit issues, and ensuring smooth distribution of goods upon arrival to maintain schedule adherence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitors flow or shipment of materials to conform with schedule.
  • Checks status of orders, and ensures that merchandise, supplies, and equipment are forwarded on specified shipping dates by contacting department heads, vendors, and shippers.
  • Verifies shipment of goods on specified dates by contacting vendors by mail, email, phone, or visit.
  • Interacts and talks with transportation company to preclude delays in transit, puts tracers on shipment in cases of en route delays, and may arrange for distribution of materials upon arrival.
