Contract - 3 Months and Possibility of Contract-to-Hire

Sales Agent will serve as the point of contact in fulfilling the insurance needs of our client’s customers by assisting them with the sales process via live chat or selling coverage via inbound calls for: Renters Only or Renters, Manufactured Housing and Classic Car insurance. Must possess a 220 Property & Casualty or 20-44 Personal Lines insurance license.

Job Responsibilities:

  • ;90% Handles high volume of inbound calls for multiple products or a combination of live chat and inbound calls for Renters only.
  • ;Meet departmental monthly sales goals.
  • ;Ensure that underwriting requirements and corporate policies are followed.
  • ;Develop strategies that support sales growth.
  • ;Track, measure and evaluate personal results.
  • ;Navigates a computerized data entry system, internet, and/or other relevant applications for tracking, information gathering, troubleshooting and transaction processing.
  • ;Completes mandatory licensure continuing education and other training sessions as appropriate.
  • ;Remains updated on departmental changes via electronic communications and maintains industry knowledge and operational skills.
  • ;10% Outbound calls to follow up on existing quotes.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to evaluate data identify relationships and summarize actionable insights.
  • Experience using CX methodologies including blueprints experience maps and human centered design principles Basic Qualifications Required
  • ;Education: High School Degree or GED.
  • ;Experience: 1 year of Sales related experience; 4 years of experience working on a desktop/laptop.
  • ;Knowledge &; Skills: Read, Write and Speak English.

Education/Experience:

  • ;Experience: 2-3 years of Sales related experience; 2-3 years of call center experience; 5+ years of experience working on a desktop/laptop; 1-year experience working with insurance.
  • ;Knowledge &; Skills: Read, Write, and speak Spanish
  • ;Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate and enter data on multiple screens.
  • ;Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
