Contract - 12 Months

Location : 600 Technology Drive, Newark, DE 19702 Electro/Mechanical Assembler I is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing environment. The role involves using hand tools, following assembly instructions and drawings, and ensuring product quality and compliance with manufacturing and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble sub-assemblies and system-level electro-mechanical hardware according to specifications
  • Follow written work instructions, assembly procedures, and mechanical drawings
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, crimpers, and soldering tools
  • Perform in-process testing and inspection of assembled products when required
  • Conduct basic mechanical measurements using calipers and other inspection tools
  • Perform basic electrical testing using multimeters when required
  • Complete Device History Records (DHR) and maintain accurate documentation
  • Support packaging, reconditioning, and other manufacturing support tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with QSR, ISO, EHS, and company quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Participate in process improvements and workplace safety initiatives
  • Support training activities and cross-functional manufacturing needs

Skills:

  • Experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly preferred
  • Proficiency with hand tools and basic mechanical assembly techniques
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and engineering drawings
  • Basic knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, indicators, etc.)
  • Familiarity with basic electrical testing equipment (multimeters) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Basic computer skills; Oracle familiarity is a plus
  • Ability to work in a structured, repetitive manufacturing environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (or equivalent experience/training)
