Location : San Diego, CA 92121 Sales Contracts Specialist II supports high-volume contract drafting, review, and negotiation activities for public health and government customers. The role involves managing RFPs, preparing sales agreements, coordinating with legal and cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and contracting standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate standard and non-standard sales contracts for government and public health customers
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and high-volume administrative contracting documents
  • Support Requests for Proposals (RFPs), sales agreements, and cross-divisional customer contracts
  • Redline and revise government and public health agreements in coordination with legal teams
  • Coordinate with Legal, Sales, Finance, and other internal stakeholders for contract approvals
  • Ensure all contracts align with company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Manage high-volume, fast-paced contract workflow with quick turnaround times
  • Maintain accurate contract records using CLM, Salesforce, ERP, and Microsoft tools
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within the contracts department
  • Train and support new team members on contracting processes and guidelines
  • Cross-train on related contract functions to provide backup support as needed
  • Support ad hoc projects and additional assignments from management

Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in contract management, sales contracts, or RFP support
  • Experience working with government or public sector contracts (public health/DOD preferred)
  • Strong experience with CLM systems, Salesforce, ERP tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of contract drafting, redlining, and negotiation processes
  • Strong understanding of RFP lifecycle and proposal development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads
  • Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in contract structuring
  • Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field preferred
