Location : Remote (FL) The ITSM Release Management / DPR Sustainment & Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions that support IT Service Management, Release Management, and Digital Product Release (DPR) processes. This role focuses on enhancing enterprise release governance, workflow automation, and system integrations to improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong ServiceNow development expertise, experience in ITSM modules, and a background in automation and enterprise integrations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and custom solutions
  • Support ITSM modules with a focus on Change and Release Management
  • Design and implement Digital Product Release (DPR) workflows and governance processes
  • Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and automation using REST and SOAP services
  • Develop scripts using JavaScript and Python for ServiceNow customization and enhancements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user guides
  • Support sustainment of enterprise ServiceNow platforms and resolve production issues
  • Integrate ServiceNow with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps
  • Automate release processes including approvals, scheduling, risk assessments, and post-release reviews
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements for scalability and efficiency
  • Support CMDB and CSDM data models and ensure configuration integrity
  • Participate in Agile development processes and DevOps practices
  • Identify opportunities for automation, AI integration, and process optimization within ServiceNow

Skills:

  • Strong experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and customization
  • Hands-on expertise in ITSM modules, especially Change and Release Management
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Python for scripting and automation
  • Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts
  • Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs and system integrations
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps)
  • Understanding of CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ServiceNow Incident, Request, and Knowledge Management modules
  • Familiarity with Automated Test Framework (ATF) preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
  • 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and platform administration
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred
  • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments preferred
  • Background in ITSM, Release Management, or DevOps strongly preferred
