Location : El Segundo, CA The Producer (MC Production) is responsible for leading ecommerce content production and website operations while supporting product launches and digital experiences. This role requires strong project management, people leadership, and content management expertise, with a focus on Shopify-based ecommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in DTC/ecommerce environments, website content management, and leading production teams to deliver high-quality site experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the day-to-day production lead for website content and product launches
  • Manage and oversee ecommerce content production and publishing activities
  • Lead and mentor two direct reports, ensuring operational excellence and timely execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ecommerce, marketing, product management, production, and operations
  • Execute content authoring responsibilities using content management systems and related tools
  • Ensure website updates, product launches, and content changes are delivered accurately and on schedule
  • Support localization and adaptation of ecommerce content for global audiences
  • Utilize Shopify and related platforms to manage website content and product information
  • Write and edit basic HTML to support website layouts and content updates
  • Manage projects using tools such as Monday.com and other project management platforms
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and operational efficiencies
  • Maintain website quality standards and ensure alignment with brand guidelines

Skills:

  • Strong Shopify platform knowledge and ecommerce content management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce or Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) environments
  • Proven people management and team leadership experience
  • Experience managing website production and digital content operations
  • Knowledge of website design principles and user experience best practices
  • Experience localizing ecommerce content for international markets
  • Basic HTML coding and content editing skills
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with Monday.com
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital production, or web content management
  • Experience leading teams and managing direct reports
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify and content management systems
  • Experience supporting website launches, updates, and digital operations
