Contract - 05 Months Contract + (Highest possibilities of contract extension)

Location (mandatory): Cambridge, MA 02140 (Hybrid) Role: Instructional Designer & Learning Specialist focused on harmonizing and standardizing existing BO training materials, transforming presentation content into engaging and interactive learning experiences, introducing assessments and feedback mechanisms, and helping define a scalable training framework.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Harmonize and standardize existing BO training materials for stakeholders.
  • Transform presentation content into automatic, engaging, interactive learning experiences.
  • Introduce quizzes, assessments, and learner feedback loops.
  • Help define a scalable training framework.
  • Review, audit, and consolidate large volumes of existing training materials into a unified curriculum.
  • Apply standardized templates, branding, and formatting across all training assets.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, structure, and instructional design approach.
  • Create reusable content components.
  • Develop and document a scalable training framework/playbook.
  • Design detailed instructions to support long-term training.
  • Structure, simplify, and synthesize complex content.
  • Define clear learning objectives.
  • Develop modular training programs and end-to-end learning paths.
  • Create training support materials respecting adult learning principles.
  • Provide constructive challenges and recommendations to improve content quality and relevance.
  • Design and deliver engaging, learner-centric training experiences using interactive methodologies.
  • Build quizzes, knowledge checks, questionnaires, and formal assessments aligned to learning outcomes.
  • Develop scenario-based and interactive modules to enhance retention and application.
  • Optimize content for usability, accessibility, and learner engagement.
  • Incorporate feedback loops and iterative improvements to maximize effectiveness.
  • Deliver multiple training streams simultaneously in a delivery-oriented environment.
  • Present information, projects, and tools to internal teams and other stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Minimum 2+ years of previous Training or Learning Specialist experience (more years of experience welcomed).
  • Experience with E-Learning tools such as E Learn/LMS platforms, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, and Camtasia (combination of experience and fluency in most listed tools preferred).
  • Experience creating deliverables with quizzes, assessments, and tracking mechanisms.
  • English-speaking, international work environment experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple training streams simultaneously.
  • Strong delivery-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience with onboarding training programs.
  • Presentation experience and ability to present information to internal teams, project stakeholders, and other teams.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  • MS and PhD candidates are accepted.
  • Pharma/Biotech industry experience is a plus; candidates from all sectors are welcome.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant Training or Learning Specialist experience.
