Location:- Mount Juliet, TN 37122 The role is responsible for managing the installation and setup of fabrication equipment, including punch/laser machines, press brakes, epoxy and paint lines, and related manufacturing equipment. The position will coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Safety & Environment, Facilities, Maintenance, Production, and Quality to ensure equipment and production processes are implemented on schedule. The role will also oversee quality performance, identify process improvement opportunities, manage production quality issues, and support continuous improvement and quality system initiatives

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects related to the installation and setup of fabrication equipment, including punch/laser machines, press brakes, epoxy lines, paint lines, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate activities across Safety & Environment, Facilities, Maintenance, Production, Quality, and other stakeholders to ensure timely equipment implementation.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key quality metrics for production lines.
  • Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage quality-related production disruptions, alerts, and process issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for product and process defects, including customer complaints.
  • Lead PFMEA activities and ensure Process Control Plans are developed and effectively implemented.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives involving 5S, SPS, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of digital quality tools.
  • Coordinate the identification, review, and approval of production deviations.
  • Oversee surveillance testing requirements for assigned product lines.
  • Maintain and continuously improve quality systems based on ISO 9000 standards.
  • Conduct internal process and quality audits.
  • Identify and implement manufacturing and quality best practices.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Quality Team members.
  • Present technical and quality-related information to leadership and customers.
