Contract - 6-Month

Location:-Tucson, AZ 85755 Seeking a detail-oriented Biospecimen Coordinator to support onsite BioSample Management operations. The role will focus on sample intake, triage, accessioning, labeling, QC, tracking, documentation, shipment coordination, and maintaining chain of custody. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of relevant sample/specimen handling experience and strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive, open, triage, and route incoming biological sample shipments.
  • Perform sample accessioning and QC checks on demographic data.
  • Label samples and conduct final labeling quality checks.
  • Maintain accurate sample documentation and chain of custody.
  • Coordinate internal and client sample requests and global shipments.
  • Communicate with clients regarding held or rejected samples and resolve issues.
  • Image stained slides returned from Pathology.
  • Monitor and manage the team inbox to ensure requests are completed.
  • Support and drive assigned process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment

  • Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Ability to work overtime when required by business needs.
