Contract - 05 months + (possibility of extension)

Location (mandatory): 109 Morgan Ln, Plainsboro Township, NJ 08536 On-site HR Generalist role in Plainsboro supporting day-to-day Human Resources operations for multiple manufacturing plants. Position requires working 5 days a week on-site with hours that may shift due to business needs and possible support for Columbia, MD location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • ;Manages the day-to-day operations of Human Resources for multiple manufacturing plants.
  • ;Administers human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
  • ;Carries out responsibilities in departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, compensation, organizational development, and employment.
  • ;Originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, and recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
  • ;Coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff.
  • ;Reports to the Human Resources Senior Director and assists and advises company leaders on Human Resources issues.
  • ;Provides day-to-day support in Plainsboro and may support Columbia, MD.
  • ;Works on-site 5 days a week; hours may shift due to business needs.

Skills:

  • ;Experience in manufacturing/plant/distribution environment with all levels of workers (hourly staff).
  • ;Workday experience preferred (training will be provided).
  • ;Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • ;Employee relations and workforce development skills.
  • ;HRIS, training and development, compensation, and organizational development experience.

Education/Experience:

  • ;Bachelor’s degree required.
  • ;7+ years of experience.
