Location : Fort Worth Texas USA 76155 The Warehouse & Distribution Process Lead is responsible for evaluating, improving, and modernizing warehouse and distribution operations within the Tech Ops environment. This role focuses on analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze warehouse and distribution workflows to identify bottlenecks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop current-state and future-state process maps using standardized mapping tools.
  • Collect, interpret, and report operational performance metrics such as throughput, pick accuracy, cycle time, and labor utilization.
  • Support development, documentation, and rollout of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in planning and executing process improvement and warehouse automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, inventory control, transportation, and IT teams to translate business needs into system or process enhancements.
  • Facilitate root-cause analysis sessions to resolve operational issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for process standards, continuous improvement practices, and operational data insights.
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring delivery timelines are met.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain systems.
  • Ability to develop and maintain SOPs, workflow documentation, and process diagrams.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Understanding of key warehouse performance metrics (throughput, accuracy, cycle time, labor utilization).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
