Location: Lexington, MA Description: The Real Time Software Developer is responsible for developing, researching, designing, and implementing real-time application software and systems. This role involves writing and implementing efficient, maintainable code while ensuring compliance with established software standards. The developer evaluates and implements interfaces between hardware and software, considering operational requirements, system architecture, cloud environments, security, and overall system performance characteristics. Responsibilities include researching and managing software programs, identifying areas for enhancement in existing applications, and implementing necessary modifications. The role also includes documenting testing activities, client experience, and system corrections, as well as developing and conducting unit tests. Collaboration with cybersecurity teams may be required to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Develop and maintain real-time software applications and systems.

Education/Experience:

  •  5+ years of experience in C/C++ programming.
  •  5+ years of experience in GPU Programming.
  •  5+ years of experience in Multithreaded Programming.
  •  5+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Software Design and Development.
  •  5+ years of experience in Software Design/Development.
  •  5+ years of experience with Middleware, DDS, Publish/Subscribe architectures, and IDL.
  •  Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and programming languages, adapt to new methodologies, and work outside of comfort zones.
