Location: Lexington, MA Description: The Real Time Software Developer is responsible for developing, researching, designing, and implementing real-time application software and systems. This role involves writing and implementing efficient, maintainable code while ensuring compliance with established software standards. The developer evaluates and implements interfaces between hardware and software, considering operational requirements, system architecture, cloud environments, security, and overall system performance characteristics. Responsibilities include researching and managing software programs, identifying areas for enhancement in existing applications, and implementing necessary modifications. The role also includes documenting testing activities, client experience, and system corrections, as well as developing and conducting unit tests. Reporting to the Field Services Manager, the IS Technician - Helpdesk will service a designated geography of retail locations across Palm Beach and Broward County. The role is responsible for providing excellent customer service while installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving retail technology equipment failures within established service level agreements. This is a field-based role requiring daily travel between client locations. Background/Need: The client requires onsite field technical support to maintain and service retail technology equipment across multiple store locations. The technician will cover a large geographic territory primarily within Palm Beach County and parts of Broward County. This role involves developing and designing core operating system builds, coding, virtualization, and automation of systems. The administrator will manage service and administrator accounts, maintain active directory environments, tune system performance, install system-wide software, and allocate storage resources. The role also includes resolving user access and security-related issues, evaluating vendor products, performing capacity planning, supporting backup and recovery, and serving as an escalation point for major incidents. The position may also draft IT communications related to outages and system updates.
