Location : Houston TX The Project Manager II will lead cross-functional supply chain planning and execution initiatives within a GMP-regulated healthcare environment. This role is responsible for driving MRP II Class A–aligned project implementation, improving operational performance, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring high-quality execution. The position requires strong leadership, risk management, and collaboration skills to deliver impactful supply chain solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and strategic priorities to support organizational and supply chain goals.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with supply chain leadership.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive issue resolution to maintain project continuity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, quality, and business teams to assign tasks and drive alignment.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics to ensure adherence to MRP II Class A standards and operational excellence.
  • Implement communication plans and provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders and project sponsors.
  • Ensure all project activities meet GMP standards and comply with organizational quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, operational efficiencies, and best-practice adoption within the supply chain.
  • Support certification and audit readiness for supply chain and MRP II Class A performance standards.

Skills:

  • Project Management Tools & Methods: Proficient with MS Project, project scheduling, budgeting, timeline development, and risk management frameworks.
  • MRP II / Supply Chain Processes: Understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II), supply chain metrics, and operational excellence principles.
  • GMP Compliance: Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and regulated supply chain environments.
  • MS Office Suite: Strong skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Project for documentation, analysis, and reporting.
  • PMP Certification: Required; ensures formal understanding of established project management methodologies.
  • Lean Six Sigma: Green or Black Belt preferred; ability to support continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Ability to collaborate with supply chain, operations, engineering, finance, and customer-facing teams.
  • Analytical & Decision-Making Skills: Ability to interpret performance metrics, evaluate risks, and make informed decisions in complex scenarios.

Education/Experience:
